How to connect Stripe and receive payments

Ever wondered how to connect your bank account to receive payments on theright.fit?

It is important that your bank account is linked to ensuring you receive payments for your campaigns on time.

We use Stripe as our payment service provider to facilitate payment which will be sent to you upon completion of a job. Stripe helps businesses (theright.fit talent) receive payments over the internet.

To connect Stripe to your account, it is simple just follow the below instructions:

  1. Login to theright.fit
  2. Under the drop-down under your name click ‘Account Settings
  3. Select Complete Setup under ‘Bank Account Details
  4. Then click ‘link account’

FAQ on Stripe

Do I need a business address to sign up as a talent?

No, you do not need a business address, however, all fields must be completed unless they are ‘optional’. You can use your home address for this if you wish.


What Should I put in the company name, address in the business section?

In the business section, you can put your own personal details if you do not have your own business. Please remember you only need to complete the fields that are not marked ‘optional’.


What web address should I use?

If you do not have your own personal site consider using your Facebook page link or Instagram page link for this field.

Should I fill in the ABN field, I am only signing up as a talent?

Your ABN is not a compulsory field however if you do have an ABN we recommend putting this in.

How do I reset my Stripe password?

To reset your password, click “Forgot your password?” on the Stripe login screen. Alternatively, you can click here to visit the password reset page. For more information click here.

How do I see what my bank account details are in Stripe?

To check your account details in Stripe go to 'payout settings' by clicking Settings underneath the Balance section in the navigation sidebar. Click the Edit button next to the desired bank account to modify your banking information. For more information on this please click here.

How do I update my bank details in Stripe?

  1. When signed into theright.fit go to ‘Account Settings’ in the drop-down menu under your name in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Click ‘Edit’ under the title ‘Bank Account Details’  
  3. Press the button that says ‘Change Bank Account’
  4. You will be directed to a Stripe page to update your bank account details
